Volunteering at the DDRC

At the DDRC, our volunteer program engages volunteers to support client services and our day-to-day operations. We value the diverse talents, skills, and abilities of our volunteers which help us achieve our vision of a community where everyone belongs.

Volunteers have a variety of opportunities to contribute towards our growth while developing their skills and creating meaningful relationships. Our volunteer program aims to:

  • Develop your skills to work with a diverse group of people;
  • Support an organization with a great cause; and
  • Make a positive change in the life of a person with a developmental disability.

We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

Event Assistants
Each year the DDRC hosts at least five major community events to fundraise for our organization. This year we are looking for volunteers to assist on the day of each event. While volunteering with the DDRC, you will be responsible for supporting the Communications and Development team at the event, communicating effectively with employees, clients, community members and businesses, while having fun.
