Relief workers are needed for our respite home for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Bow Place offers six beds for adults and children with moderate to severe disabilities. We provide support with daily living and activities in a homelike setting.

Requirements:

• Attention to all areas of daily living
• Able to work as a team member and independently
• Willingness to learn
• Communicate and liaise with co-workers and supervisors to ensure quality service
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience required in all areas of personal care
• Knowledge of tube feedings and oxygen therapy
• Medication Administration Certificate an asset

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Diploma
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• 6 months relevant experience working with children and/or adults with disabilities

Remuneration is commensurate with education and experience.
